BLACK, NORMA HOPE - Peacefully after a brief illness, Norma Hope Black of Mill Cove Nursing Home, Cambridge Narrows passed away on Monday March 19, 2007. Born 1952, in Saint John she was the daughter of Beatrice (Gaudet) Black and the late Leo Joseph Black. Besides her loving mother Beatrice, she is survived by her siblings Claudette Winchester (Lee) of Ottawa, May Black of Saint John, Rosemarie Keith of Vancouver, Bettyann Young of Saint John and Gordon Black (Sheila Norquay) of Ottawa; sisters-in-law Elva Black of Saint John and Jenny Near of Hanover, Ontario; dearly loved by 11 nieces and nephews; 12 great nieces and nephews; and extended family of Mill Cove Nursing Home. Besides her father she was predeceased by brothers Roger, Ellis and Claud Black; sisters Claudia and Shirley Black; and brother-in-law John Keith. Due to family illness a private family service will be held at Fundy Funeral Home, with Father Tom Fowler officiating. Interment at St. Joseph's Cemetery will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations made to the Snoozelen Room at the Mill Cove Nursing Home or to the charity of the donor's choice.
