BROWN, AUSTIN ROBERT - The death of Austin Robert Brown of Bayview, husband of Ruby (Ellis) Brown, occurred March 28, 2007, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. He was born in St. Martins, son of the late Lloyd and Alice (MacDonald) Brown. Austin was an electrician at Saint John Shipbuilding, retiring twelve years ago. He enjoyed baseball, snowmobiling, working in the woods and he was proud of his garden. He loved spending time with his wife and family. Austin was a member of the Orange Lodge, I.B.E.W., and St. Martins United Church. Surviving besides his wife Ruby are three sons, Richard (Karen), Bayview, Kenneth (Kim), Norton, Stewart (Karen), Belleisle Creek; two daughters, Andrea Floyd (Scott), Bayview, Janet Brown (Trevor), Hampton; one brother, Arthur Brown (Pat), St. Martins; one sister, Linda MacDonald (Ian), Bayview; brother-in-law, Charlie Weston, Saint John; sister-in-law, Helen Brown, Bayview; 11 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one brother, Hallie Brown; and one sister, Dorothy Weston. There will be a private visitation and funeral service. Memorials to Primary Pulmonary Hypertension, NB Heart and Stroke Foundation or charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
