LONDON, EVA M. - The death of Eva May London of Sussex occurred at the Sussex Health Centre on March 27, 2007, at the age of 78. Born at Coles Island, NB, a daughter of the late Chester and Ethel (Boyd) Crawford. Eva is survived by her children, Barb Guptill (Barry) of Sussex, Elmer Cole (Kathy) of Sussex Corner, Susan MacKenzie (Ken) of Ajax, ON, Margaret Kyle (Roy) of Lower Millstream, and Sandy Cole (Stephen Christian) of Sussex Corner; stepsons, Brian London (Karen) of Winnipeg, and David London (Rita) of Sudbury, ON; step daughter-in-law, Patsy McKinnon (Bob) of PEI; 16 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; sisters, Hazel Richardson (Earl) of Sussex, Sylvia Pagett (Ernest) of Markhamville; brother, Donald Crawford (Anna) of Mount Middleton; numerous nieces and nephews. Eva was predeceased by her 1st husband, Frank Cole, 2006; her 2nd husband, Bayard London, 1989; sisters, Jeanette Crawford, Ada Wallace and Marie Anderson; brothers, Roy, Allen, Merton, Harold, Frank, Ronald, Ralph and Robert; step-daughter, Connie; and stepson, Terry. The family will receive visitors at the Sussex Select Community Funeral Home, 21 Aiton Road, Sussex (506-433-2133) on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9PM. Sussex Branch #20 Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary will hold a Tribute on Friday at 6:45PM. The funeral service will be held Saturday March 31, 2007 at 11AM at the funeral home chapel with Reverend Philip Dallimore officiating. A private family interment will take place at Newtown Baptist Cemetery.
