GIGGEY, PAUL MOORE - The death of Paul Moore Giggey, husband of Margaret 'Peggy' (Morris) Nickerson-Giggey, occurred on March 28, 2007 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, he was the son of Florence Giggey and the late Harry Giggey. He was a commercial sales representative for T.S. Simms and Crown-Meakins, having traveled south-western Ontario for over 40 years. He was a member of the North West Commercial Travelers Association. He returned to Saint John in 2000 and was a member of the Men of Fundy. He enjoyed his years of retirement woodworking and gardening. Besides his wife and mother, he is survived by sons, Michael (Winnie) of Hong Kong, Christopher (Helene) of Ottawa; step-daughters, Vickie and Lori Nickerson, both of Calgary; brother, Brian (Marilyn) of Saint John; sister, Nancy Ross of Saint John; mother-in-law, Martina Morris; brother-in-law, Harold Shanks; his grandchild, Owyn Giggey of Hong Kong; his special furry friend, Heidi; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. His wife, Anne (Little) Giggey; sister, Norma Shanks; and brother-in-law, John Ross predeceased him. Following cremation, visiting will be held at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The memorial service will be held on Monday, at 11:00 am, from Brenan's Chapel. Interment will take place at Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery.
