LaPOINTE, TODD M. - Todd M. LaPointe, 42, passed away suddenly on Sunday, April 15, 2007 at Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Lorne, NB he graduated from Dalhousie Regional High School and New Brunswick Community College with a Diploma in Computer Programming Technology. Most recently he completed his Project Leadership Course at UNB. He was a 17-year veteran of NB Power, where he was employed as a Senior Technical Specialist - Project Lead at the Point Lepreau Nuclear Generating Station. An avid outdoorsman, Todd had a love for all things, be it mechanical, musical and animals, especially his cats. He is survived by his partner, Debbie Hayden, his mother Adeline LaPointe (Godin), his father David, his sister Angela (Ross) his sister Debbie Furlotte (Owen Carrier), his brother Glen Furlotte (JoAnne Murphy), his brother Marc Furlotte (Anne Byrne), and nieces and nephews Nicholas, Melissa, Steven, Meaghan, and Justin. Visitation at Ste. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, Lorne, NB on Tuesday, April 17 from 7:00 - 9:00 pm, Wednesday from 2:00 - 4:00 pm and 7:00 - 9:00 pm, and Thursday from 12:30 - 2:00 pm. Funeral will be held at Ste. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, Lorne, NB on Thursday at 2:00pm. The pallbearers will be Ken McOnie, Edward Hayden, Raymond Godin, Richard Godin, Brian Gauthier, Blair Chamberlain and Nicholas LaPointe. Honorary pallbearers will be Steven Carrier, Justin Furlotte, Sammy Hayden, Melissa Carrier and Meaghan Furlotte.
