47, Grande Cache/Marion Bridge It is with great sadness that we the family announce the sudden passing of Myles ‘Moe’ MacIntosh, Friday, April 11, 2008, in Edmonton, Alta. Born and raised in Marion Bridge, he was the son of Mrs. Elizabeth ‘Betty’ (MacAskill), Marion Bridge, and the late Myles MacIntosh. A former well known resident of Marion Bridge, Moe worked with his father, uncle Syl, and brother Dan for 30+ years operating MacIntosh’s Esso in Dutch Brook. Besides his mother, Betty, he is survived by his partner, Eileen Doran; his two children, Nicole and Logan; and their mother, Joyce Fillmore; brother, Dan (Mary), all of Marion Bridge. Besides his father, Moe was predeceased by his brother, Syl ‘Buddy’. Moe will be remembered as a loving father, loyal friend and neighbour. Visitation will take place Thursday, April 24, at the S.W. Chant & Son Funeral Home, 564 Alexandra St., Sydney from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, April 25, at Bethel United Church, Marion Bridge, with Nancy Whitney, DLM officiating.
