GOOLD, BARB - Barb Goold of St. George Street, Sussex passed away at her residence on Friday, April 20, 2007 at the age of 75, after a valiant fight with cancer. Born in London, Ontario on March 8, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Ellen (Findlay) Stringer. Barb is survived by Arthur, her beloved husband of 51 years; three daughters, Pam Goold, Shari Brenan and her husband Fred, and Karen Goold, all of Sussex; her brother, Robert Stringer of Sussex Corner; four grandchildren, Callie Northrup, Nathan, Kate and Megan Brenan; as well as several nieces and nephews. Barb was predeceased by her infant daughter, Cynthia Louise who passed away in 1958; and by her sister-in-law, Annie Stringer who passed away in 1993. Barb spent her life raising her family and working alongside Art at Goold's Nurseries. She was a member of St. Paul's United Church where she was a former Sunday School Teacher. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), where visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. The Funeral Service will be held from St. Paul's United Church on Thursday April 26th at 1:00pm.
