BOYD, ROBERT WILLIAM - The death of Robert William Boyd of St. Stephen, New Brunswick occurred unexpectedly after a short illness, at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Monday, April 23, 2007. Born in Calais, Maine, he was the son of the late William Henry and Marjorie (Scullin) Boyd. He is survived by his wife, Joan (Robinson) Boyd; three daughters, Brenda Boyd (Reg Wilson) of Moncton, Sandra Boyd of Moncton and Linda Boyd of St. Stephen; five grandchildren and one great grandchild. A retired letter carrier, he and Joan traveled extensively. He also enjoyed many hours at Dooley's playing pool with his friends. A private graveside service will be held at the St. Stephen Rural Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Garth Williams officiating.
