KEATING, H. JEAN - The death of H. Jean (Carson) Keating of Saint John, wife of Allan Keating occurred April 26, 2007 at Saint John Regional Hospital. She was born in Saint John on March 29, 1949, daughter of Roy Carson and the late Catherine (Marshall) Carson. Jean worked several years at the Saint John Regional Hospital, Emergency Registration Department, retiring in 2003. She loved gardening in her spare time. Besides her husband and father, Jean is survived by her sister Ann Wheaton (Steve), Hampton; four sisters-in-law, Doris Green (Sonny), Gloria Collings (Jim), Bernice Conley (Ron), Lorraine Taylor (Bill); three brothers-in-law, Andrew Keating (Marg), Jack Keating (Thelma) and Ron Keating (Janice), all of the Saint John area; step-daughter, Cindy Patstone (Chris), Westfield, grandson Thomas E. Patstone; four aunts; several nieces and nephews. Resting at Reid's Funeral Home (832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton. The funeral will be held Sunday, 3:00 pm at Reid's Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor David McElhinney officiating. Interment in Riverbank Cemetery. Memorials to NB Heart & Stroke Foundation or Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated. Visiting 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm Saturday.
