MARION EVELYN HARVIE
HARVIE, MARION EVELYN - Marion Evelyn (Weaver) Harvie passed away at her residence in St. George NB on May 1, 2007 at the age of 77. Born in Doaktown NB, on October 19, 1929, she was a daughter of the late Perley and Helen (Donald) Weaver. Marion was the wife of the late Murray Dakin Harvie. She is survived by daughters; Shirley (Wayne) Arbour, Brenda Blinn and Patty Hooper, a son, Richard (Kathy) Harvie, six grandchildren, Eric, Lindsay, Shannon, Cortney, Dakin and Hiliary, one great grandchild, Ethan, one step daughter, Caryl and step granddaughter Denyse, brothers; Donnie, Norris, Ivan, Gerald and Lyman, sisters; Olive and Carol, many nieces and nephews. In addition to her loving husband Murray, she was predeceased by her brother Archie and sister Eva. Marion was a long standing member of the Beaver Harbour Baptist Church, Beaver Harbour NB as well as a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 39 Auxilliary. She was a devoted member of the OES Granite Chapter # 15 of the Eastern Star, as well as a former member of the Rebekkah Lodge of Aurora ON. Marion touched the lives of anyone she met; she was giving, unselfish and caring. She will always be remembered with love and fond memories by many, many friends. Resting at the Beaver Harbour Baptist Church, from where the service will be held on Friday at 2:00 pm followed by interment in the Beaver Harbour Community Cemetery. Visiting at the church on Thursday from 7-9 pm. The Granite Chapter #15 of the OES will conduct a tribute service at the church on Thursday at 6:00 pm followed by an Auxilliary Service from the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #39. Following the interment all are invited to the church for a time of fellowship. In Marion's memory donations to the NB Lung Association or a charity of the donor's choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
