STEVENS, JAMES ROBERT - Jimmy Stevens, husband of Jeanette (Mitchell) Stevens, passed peacefully away, on May 3rd, 2007, at the Saint John Regional Hospital with his family at his side. Born in Saint John he was the son of the late Charles E. and Jeanette Stevens. He had a deep love of family and friends. He was very musical and loved to play. Besides his wife, he is survived by brothers, Charles Thomas (Blanche) Stevens, Wayne (Sharon) Stevens, David Stevens, Brian (Anita) Stevens, Paul (Heather) Stevens, Morgan Stevens; sisters, June Dawson, Betty Chambers, Faye Smith, Phyllis McGinnis, Debra McIntyre; and several cousins, nieces and nephews. His brother, Kevin Stevens; and sisters, Shirley Forsyth, Janet McNulty, Marjorie McQuinn and Margaret Kozack predeceased him. Resting at Brenans Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), with visiting on Saturday, May 5th from 7 to 9 pm and Sunday, May 6th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Monday, May 7th at 1:00 pm, from Brenans Chapel. Interment will take place at Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. www.brenansfh.com
