MacELMON, T. ARTHUR - T. Arthur MacElmon of Woodstock, husband of Mattie H. (Crowell) MacElmon, died on Tuesday, May 8, 2007 at the Carleton Memorial Hospital, at the age of 92. Born at Lower Onslow, Nova Scotia, he was a son of the late Ernest and Bessie MacElmon. Art was employed as an engineer with Canadian National Railway, played with the Carleton County Fiddlers, and was an avid golfer. In addition to his wife of 70 years, Art is survived by a sister, Grace Archibald of Windsor, Nova Scotia, and by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, Roy and Charles; and by two sisters, Agnes and Emma. Resting at the Scott Funeral Home, 815 Main Street, Woodstock, with visiting on Thursday from 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Friday at 10:00 am from Scott Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Sungmin Jung will be officiating, with interment in the Robie Street Cemetery, Truro, Nova Scotia, at a later date. www.scottfh.com
