CAIRNS, EVELYN F. - The death of the Evelyn F. Cairns of Loch Lomond Villa, Saint John, wife of the late, Maxwell Cairns and her first husband, Angus MacDonald. Born in Shubenackie, NS, she was a daughter of the late Mable Singer. Evelyn is survived by children, Tony MacDonald (Kathy) of Saint John, Cindy MacDonald (James Byers) of Saint John, Paul MacDonald (Louise) of Norton, NB, Judy Johnson (Donald) of Saint John, Brenda Newnan of Saint John, Mary Leslie of Saint John, Linda Martin (Art) of Saint John and Donald MacDonald of AB; her brothers, Donald and Wayne Elliott; her sisters, Hazel Morris and Barbara Agnew; as well as several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter, Leona Ballard; and her brothers, Gordon, Jackie and Charles Elliott. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506-634-7424) with visiting on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Memorial Service will be held at Brenan's Chapel on Saturday, June 9 at 11:00 am.
