FERGUSON, SHIRLEY JOYCE - The death of Shirley Ferguson of Plaster Rock occurred on July 2, 2007 at the Tobique Valley Hospital at the age of 77. Born in Plaster Rock she was the daughter of the late Lee and Elsie Stickles. Shirley is survived by her husband Thomas Ferguson; two daughters Marlene (Robin) Hathaway of Centreville and Connie (Brent) Perry of Florenceville; four grandchildren Amy, Emily, and Ian Hathaway and Keegan Perry; brothers and sisters Margaret Smith of Minto, Dr. Lee (Mary) Stickles of Fredericton, Elsie Perry of Bridgewater, NS and Connie Estabrook of Dartmouth, NS; sister-in-law Glenda Stickles of Bathurst. Predeceased by her parents, son Danny Ferguson, sister Dorothy Porter and brother John Stickles. Visiting hours will be held on Friday July 6th at White's Chapel, Plaster Rock from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held on Saturday July 7th at 1 pm from White's Chapel with Rev. Robert McNutt officiating. Interment in the Plaster Rock Community Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Heart & Stroke Foundation or Red Cross would be appreciated by the family.
