Passed peacefully away after a brief illness at the Palliative Care Unit on July 23, 2008. Predeceased by father, Paul Moores, June 1984 and mother, Marion Moores April, 2008. Survived by loving and caring wife of 52 years, Eileen; son Gary (Helen); daughters: Wanda (Gabriel) Connors, Heather (Lex) Hudson; sisters: Ruby (Edward) Williams, Millie (Allan) Piercey; grandchildren: Vanessa and Stephanie Moores, Paul and Cheryl Connors, Brandon and Mark Hudson; and special sister-in-law, Fannie Hudson. A large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, Freshwater Rd. Visitation on Thursday 6 to 7 p.m. (family), 7 to 9 p.m.; Friday 2 to 4 p.m.and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral at 2 p.m. at Memorial United Church, Pouch Cove.
