DONALD (DON) CLIFFORD (1935-2007) RITCHIE
RITCHIE, DONALD (DON) CLIFFORD (1935-2007) - Donald "Don" Clifford Ritchie, of Riverview, passed away on July 10th, 2007 after a courageous battle with cancer at The Moncton Hospital. Born in Smith's Falls, Ontario on April 12th, 1935, he was the beloved husband of Joyce (Woodworth) Ritchie off 28 years, he was son of the late James Ritchie and Olive (Ritchie) South. Don was employed as a Sales Manager at the Buyer Flyer. Aside from Don's wife he is survived by his daughter, Pamela (Tom) McCaughey of Moncton, N.B., stepsons; Dale (Cathy) Yeomans of Saint John N.B. and David Yeomans (Lynn Reid) of Riverview, N.B. Don is also survived by his grandchildren; Michael, Kaitlyn, Jessica, Melissa, Brandon & Riley Yeomans, brother, William (Bill) (Helen) Ritchie of Hamburg, New York, sisters; Margaret (late Ken) Ferguson of Lanark, Ontario, Helen (late Stanley) Lancaster of Ottawa, Ontario and Kathleen (Jack) Grant of Hornby, Ontario, sister-in-law's; Pat (Ed) Savard of Daytona Beach, Florida, Cora Duff (late Don) of Pictou, Nova Scotia, brother-in-laws; Woody Woodworth (Pat), of Moncton, N.B. and Hugh (Frances) Woodworth of Hopewell Hill, N.B. and Don will also be survived by his several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother James Ritchie of Smiths Falls, Ontario. The family would like to thank Extra Mural and the Palliative Care Unit at the Moncton Hospital for their excellent care & compassion during Don's illness. In keeping with "Don's" wishes there will be no visitation. The funeral service will be held at 2:30 pm on Friday, July 13th, 2007 in the Chapel of Fair Haven Funeral Home. A reception for "Don's" family and friends will follow the service at St. John the Baptist Anglican Church in Riverview at 3:30 pm. In memory of Don donations to the Palliative Care Unit in The Moncton Hospital would be appreciated by the family. Interment will take place in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens.
