
LORETTA PEARL BURLOCK
BURLOCK, LORETTA PEARL - Loretta Pearl, age 85, Corn Hill, NB passed away July 18, 2007 at the Sussex Health Centre, Sussex, NB after a brief illness. She was born in Traveller's Rest, PEI, the daughter of James Walter and Eva May (Carr) Burlock of Corn Hill, NB. Loretta left the farm in Corn Hill and went to work for a family in Salisbury and later for a family in Havelock. In 1942 she started working as an office clerk for the T. Eaton Company in Moncton, retiring in 1975 when the catalogue department closed, after which she moved back to the homestead in Corn Hill. She worked for a time for CP Transport and later cared for several infirmed individuals. She was predeceased by sisters Thelma Davidson, Hazel Blizzard, Evelyn Anderson, Marjorie Barnett and by one nephew. She is survived by one brother Raymond Burlock, Moncton, her twin sister Lillian Radcliffe, Sussex, brother-in-law James Barnett, Riverview, twelve nieces, five nephews and numerous great and great great nieces and nephews and cousins. Resting at Armstrong's Funeral Home, Petitcodiac, NB with visiting hours Sunday from 1-5 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Corn Hill United Baptist Church Monday, July 23, 2007 at 3 p.m. Interment in Corn Hill Baptist Cemetery.
