BRIDEAU, JOHN JOSEPH - After a long and courageous battle with kidney disease, John passed away on Friday, July 20th, 2007 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. He was the son of the late Edward and Azilda Brideau. John is survived by his wife, Edmee Mary (Casey) Brideau; four sons, Bill (Bernice), Richard, Eric (Patty) and Gilbert, all of Saint John; four daughters, Linda Hughes (Joe Goldie), Joyce Brideau, Shirley Rogers and Nancy (John) Robichaud all of Saint John; a brother, Alfred of Niagara Falls Ont.; two sisters, Katherine and Freda, both of Niagara Falls Ont.; fourteen grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides his parents, John was predeceased by a daughter, Ednal; son in-law, William; and daughter-in-law, Kathy. Arrangements are under the professional care of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John NB. By John's request, cremation has taken place and the funeral service will be held on Friday, July 27th, 2007 at the Holy Trinity Church on Rockland Rd. at 12 noon.
