THOMPSON, SAUNDERS BOLES - Saunders Boles Thompson of St. Stephen, NB passed away on Tuesday, July 24, 2007 at Charlotte County Hospital after a long battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband, Brian Thompson, children, Sara (Patrick Zwicker), Emily (David) Somers, Naomi (Greg Smith), grandchildren, Alder, Nola, Anna, brothers, Frank Boles of Indianapolis, Indiana, Lester Boles of Irmo, South Carolina, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. Saunders was a dedicated teacher at St. Stephen Elementary School for many years, and was well-liked and respected by both her peers and her students. She was funny, loyal, an avid reader, and loved to tell stories and make lists. Saunders was devoted to her family and friends and enjoyed spending time at the cottage. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 29th at 12:00 p.m. at S.O. Mehan and Son Funeral Home in St. Stephen, NB, and will be followed by a memorial service at 2:00 p.m.
