ALMON, LINDA - Mrs. Linda Almon of Newtown passed away on Saturday, July 28th, 2007 at the age of 54. She was the daughter of the late Everett and Dorothy Simpson. She is survived by her husband, Clifford; her daughter, Dorci Almon and her friend Mark of Sussex; three sons, Robert of Sussex, Ronald (Tanya) of Penobsquis and Thomas of Sussex; four sisters, Karen Almon (Ralph) of Knightville, Kim Gray (John) of Hammondvale, Janice Reeder (Gary) of Sussex and Marlene McFarland (Mike) of Alberta; two brothers, Jim Simpson (Debbie) of Ontario and Danny Simpson (Debbie) of Alberta; two sisters- in-law, Mildred Simpson of Salisbury and Bernice Simpson of Alberta; ten grand- children; as well as several nieces and nephews. Linda was predeceased by her daughter, Tracy; and by two brothers, Gary and Doug Simpson. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), where visitation will be held on Sunday, July 29th from 7 to 9pm, and Monday, July 30th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. The Funeral Service will be held from Wallace Community Chapel on Tuesday, July 31st, 2007 at 11:00 am. The interment will take place at Gosline Cemetery.
