ELLIS, FRANCES G. - "Fran" wife of James E. Ellis, Sr. of Marrtown passed away on Saturday, July 28th, 2007 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1938 in Saint John she was the daughter of Francis and Phyllis Golding. Besides her loving husband, James, Frances is survived by sons, Richard B. Ellis (Colleen) of Marrtown, James E. Ellis, Jr. (Karen) of Rothesay; daughter, Brenda A. Major (John) of East Providence, RI; one brother, Brian Golding of St. Martins; five grandchildren, Rebecca Rezendes, Kerri Major, Eric Major, Tyler Ellis and Tiffany Ellis; two great-grandchildren, Joseph Rezendes and Cameron Major. Fran and Jim were married for 51 years and she was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, cooking and most of all, taking care of her family. Resting at the Fundy Funeral Home 230 Westmorland Rd. (646-2424) with visitations on Wednesday, August 1st, 2007 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, August 2nd at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
