JENSEN, ANDERS J. - At his residence, August 6, 2007, Mr. Anders J. Jensen of New Denmark passed away peacefully with his loving family at his side. He was married to the former Myrna Smidt. Born at New Denmark in 1933, he was a son of the late Carl H. Jensen and of the late Olga Swanson. Besides his wife, he is survived by his four daughters, Debra (Dave Henderson) of Cumberland Beach, Ontario, Cindy (Scott Lamont) of Beijing, China, Cheryl and Ingrid of Montreal, five grandchildren, Olivier, Felix, Jade, Ingrid and Mathias, brothers and sisters, Luther (Barbara) of Middleton, NS, Petrea Taylor, Hilda Roussy and Carolyn Melo of Victoria, BC and Peter (Sharon) of Whitehorse, Yukon, as well as nieces and nephews. Resting at O'Regan's Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls with visiting hours Wednesday, August 8th, from 7-9 p.m. He will then be resting at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, New Denmark on Thursday, August 9th, from 1-2 p.m., at which time his funeral service will be held with Pastor David Knudson officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery.
