McKAY, JAMES EMERSON - at his residence, Deer Island , NB, August 8, 2007, James Emerson McKay, son of the late John and Virginia (Wilson) McKay. Survived by his common law wife, Sheila McKay, two foster sons, Robert Leslie (Katrina) and Merle Leslie (Cindy) both of Deer Island, NB, six grandchildren, April, Jenna, Blake, Jodie, Kyle and Liam, three sisters, Wilma McCartney, Elmsville, NB, Phyllis Milligan (Gordon), Inverness, PEI, and Shirley Tatton, Elmsville, NB, one step brother, Vernon Boyle, several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, stepfather, Henry Boyle, his common law wife, Pearl Calder, six brothers, and two sisters. Funeral Service will be held at The S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main Street, St. Stephen, NB on Sunday, August 12, 2007 at 2 p.m. Family will receive relatives and friends at the funeral home on Saturday, August 11, 2007 from 7 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, remembrances to the Cancer Society or charity of ones choice would be appreciated by the family.
