
DAVID (DIGGER) FRY
FRY, DAVID (DIGGER) - The death of David (Digger) Fry, age 56, loving husband of Betty (Hurley) Fry occurred unexpectedly on Friday, August 24, 2007 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John he was the son of the late Edgar and Helen (Rolston) Fry. David worked as a Sheriff with the Province of New Brunswick for 14 years. He was a wonderful husband and father and was loved and will be missed by all. Besides his loving wife, Betty, he is survived by his son, Michael Fry (girlfriend, Nicole Brown) of Saint John; sisters-in-law, Joyce (David) Bean of Sussex, Bernice (Marcel) Dignard, Faye and Hoyt Goulding and Florence Fry all of Saint John; aunt, Helen Fry of Saint John; cousin, Doug Shippee; several nieces and nephews and many friends. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by brothers, Richard and Robert Fry; and sister, Barb Golding Following cremation, visitations will be held from Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) on Tuesday August 28, 2007 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday August 29, 2007 at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in Ocean View Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
