ELAINE JANET DAVIDSON

DAVIDSON, ELAINE JANET - 1951-2007. Peacefully, with her family by he side, Elaine Janet Davidson of Florenceville passed away Tuesday morning at home after a courageous battle with cancer. Elaine was the daughter of the late Lewis & Jessie (Broad) Giberson and wife to her first husband, the late James Pierce and her current husband, Thomas W. Davidson. Elaine lived in Florenceville most of her life and operated her hair salon "Clip & Curl" out of her home. She loved her family with all her heart, (especially her grandchildren) also her many friends, clients and her God. She was a very special person to all who knew her. Even after getting arthritis in her shoulder, with pain every day, she still looked after a few of her special clients when they called upon her. Her family will miss the celebration every Christmas Eve held at her home, the big feast, (she was a great cook) and the gathering of family, this meant a lot to her, keeping her family close. You could see that, as they were all by her side Tuesday morning when she went to be with God. "He only takes the Best". Elaine is survived by her loving husband Tom, her loving daughters, Krista (Lyle) Tibbets and Rosalie (Chris) Harrington, step children, Serena (Mark) Hamilton, Misty (Bradley) Scott and Patty Davidson, her beautiful grandchildren, Destiny, Brooke and Taylor Tibbets, Colby and Rylee Harrington, Eric and Emily Hamilton, Wyman and Newman Scott and Dylan Smith, sisters, Marie Wyman (Tim), Geraldine (Allison) Demerchant, Cathy (David) Getchell, Collean (Jeff) Hiliker and Angela Giberson, brothers, Dale (Carolyn) Giberson, Keith (Carol) Giberson, Paul (Catherine) Giberson, Stephen Giberson and Wade Giberson, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends, all who loved her very much. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 29, 2007, 2-4 & 7-9pm from St. Leo's Catholic Church Florenceville. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday morning at 11am from St. Leo's Church, Rev. David Fulton officiating. Interment will be in St. Bartholowmew's Cemetery Clearview. Donations made in Elaine's memory may be made to the Martin Kilfoil Memorial Fund or to St. Bartholowmew's Cemetery.
