BELYEA, BASIL PHILIP (PHIL) BSC., P.ENG - In loving memory of B. Philip (Phil) Belyea, 78 years, who passed away Sept 6th, 2007 at St. Joseph's Health Center. Born in Campbellton, NB, he grew up in Stanley and Sackville, NB. After graduating from Mount Allison University, he worked as a geologist in Wawa, Ont. and Shefferville, PQ. He moved to Sudbury, Ont, in 1959 where he met and married Isabel (Stockton). He worked for Falconbridge Mines, Ltd. He was a member of the Church of the Epiphany (Anglican) and was a hospital visitor for Mended Hearts Inc. Loving son of the late Jessie (Knight) and the late Rev. Canon J. Robinson Belyea. Beloved husband of Isabel (Stockton) Belyea of Sudbury; loving father of Andrew (wife Dodie) of Pickering, Ont., Phyllis (husband Len) Borgdorff of Barrie, Ont., David (wife Manon) of Coniston, Ont., and Kathy (husband Bob) Belanger of Bracebridge, Ont.; cherished grandfather of Symon, Kevin, Sean, Steven, Katelyn, Jessy, Eryn, Jaime, and Victoria. Survived by one sister, Anna of Saint John, NB. He was predeceased by one sister and two brothers, Elizabeth Crane of Sussex, NB.; John (wife Veronica) of St. Catherines, Ont.; and Harold (Phil's twin). He is also survived by one nephew and two nieces, John (wife Susan) Belyea; and daughter Gwen of Toronto; Sarah (husband Ed) Belanger; children, Kyle and Kelsey of Barrie and Mary Belyea of St. Catherines and sister-in-law, Margaret Stockton of Woodstock, Ont. Funeral service in the Church of the Epiphany 85 Larch St Sudbury Monday, Septemper 10th, 2007 at 11am. Cremation with interment in the Civic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the Mended Heart Assoc. or Church of the Epiphany Memorial Fund would be appreciated. Friends may call at the church 7-9 pm Sunday and after 10:30 am Monday.
