MANZER, SARAH (1926-2007) - With her family by her side, Sarah Manzer of Hillandale, NB passed away at her home on September 7, 2007. Born in Scotland on April 30, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Margaret (MacFarlane) Williamson. She leaves behind her husband, Henry Manzer; her daughters, Bessie (Roger) McLaughlin of Kingston Peninsula, NB, Shirley (Melvin) Headspeth of Caribou, Maine, Lorna (Robert) Longstaff of Knoxford, NB; her sons, Fred Manzer (Hope) of St. Catharines, ON, Danny Manzer (Delores) of Perth-Andover, Steve Manzer of Burlington, ON; her sisters, Helen Saunders of Perth-Andover, Betty Kinney of Hamilton, ON; 16 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren. Sarah was the cook at the Perth-Andover Elementary School for many years. Resting at Brunswick Funeral Home with visitation on Sunday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held on Monday, September 10, 2007 at 2 pm from Brunswick Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Helene Burns officiating. Interment will be in the Presbyterian Rural Cemetery.
