LEWIS, CORA M. - Mrs. Cora M. Lewis of Penobsquis, passed away on September 17, 2007 at the age of 87. She was the daughter of the late James and Eva (Bunnell) Adair and the wife of the late John Lewis. Cora is survived by her children, Albert (Etta), Harold (Debbie), Joan Campbell (Ken), Doreen, Beverly, Doris Fraser (Gordon), Ann Bunnell (Glen), Ruth Fitzgerald (Tony) and Terri-Ann Pinet; her sister, Rhoda Patterson; her sister-in-law, Betty Adair; her brother-in-law, Ernie Gowlett (Carrie); her son-in-law, Dillwyn Inkpen; her daughter-in-law, Margaret Lewis; her special children, Phyllis Hamilton and Blair McEwen; as well as several grandchildren; great grandchildren; great great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins; and her special care worker, Sharon Hayward. Cora was predeceased by her daughter, Loretta Inkpen; two sons, Russell and John; her brother, Russell Adair; and two sisters, Lillian Parlee and Ruth Mower; and by several grandchildren. Cora attended Penobsquis United Baptist Church. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, (506-433-1176). Visitation will be held from Sussex Baptist Church on Tuesday from 7 to 9 and on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm.
