LOVE, ALAN RICHARD - After a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer, the death of Alan Love, of Hastings Cove, NB occurred on September 29, 2007 at his residence. He was born on February 5, 1934 in Montreal, PQ to the late H. Gordon and Audrey B. (Leroux) Love. Alan was a sales associate for many firms throughout his life, the most notable House of Seagram Company Ltd. He is survived by one daughter, Lisa (Costa) Papista of Saginaw, MI; her mother, Karen Love of Lakeville Corner, NB; one sister, Valerie Robinson of Rothesay, NB; one brother, Ronald Love of New Glasgow, NS/Fort Pierce, FL; one granddaughter, Eva Papista; and several nieces and a nephew. He will be sadly missed by his special friend and companion, Addie Hachey. Resting at Brenans Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424) with visitation on Wednesday, October 3, 2007 from 12pm to 1pm. The funeral service will follow the visitation starting at 1 pm in Brenan's Chapel. Interment in Fernhill Cemetery.
