(nee Miller) Passed peacefully away at the Placentia Health Care Centre on July 24, 2008, age 89 years. Born in Port Royal, Placentia Bay on September 17, 1918, now a resident of Freshwater, Placentia Bay. Predeceased by her husband William in 1996; parents, Joseph and Bridget Miller; sister Annie; brothers: George and Tom; and granddaughters: Cynthia and Liza. Left with fond and loving memories, three sons: Joe (Trudy), Dan (Jennie) and Jerry (Pat); five daughters: Kay (Jim), Mary (Ozzie), Marg (Ken), Eileen (Ken) and Barb (Paul); 15 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters: Mary, Jenny and Winnie; brothers: Jim and Joe and their families; also a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Maher's Funeral Home, Placentia on Friday, July 25th from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m., and Saturday 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Funeral Mass on Saturday, July 26th at 1 p.m. from Holy Rosary Church, Freshwater.
