WALSH, RAYMOND GEORGE - The death of Raymond George Walsh of Upper Salmon Creek, NB occurred Monday, November 12, 2007 at the Chalmer's Regional Hospital. Born in North Minto, NB he was the son of the late George and Josephine (Mayne) Walsh. Survived by sons, Larry Walsh (Carlotta) of Musquash, NB, Allen Walsh (Debbie) of Minto, NB and Arnold Walsh (Barbara) of Midland, NB; daughters, Lorraine LeBlanc (Victor) of Rothesay, NB, Christina McFarlane (Duane) of Fredericton, NB, Shawna Doherty (Mike) of Fredericton, NB; daughter-in-law, Barbara Currie of Rothesay, NB; brothers, John Walsh (Joyce) of Hamilton, ON, Gerald Walsh of Shubenacadie, NS and Bobby Walsh (Vicky) of PEI; sisters, Alice Darrah of Chipman, NB, Annie McAllister of Minto, NB and Rose Thompson of Minto, NB; 11 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Raymond was predeceased by his 1st wife, Glenna (Barton) Walsh; 2nd wife, Edna (Robinson) Walsh; a son, David Currie; and a brother, Edward Walsh. Resting at the Minto Funeral Home 327-3490 with visiting on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. Funeral Service will take place at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, November 14, 2007 from the First Chipman United Baptist Church, Gaspereau Forks, NB with Pastor Reg Ward and Pastor Keith Barton officiating.
