MERCER, INA MURIEL - The death of Ina M. (Smith) Mercer, age 79, wife of the late Elward W. Mercer, of Titusville, NB, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Sunday, November 11, 2007. Ina was the daughter of the late Harry and Olive (Tays) Smith. Ina is survived by three daughters, Christine and Clifford Lawrence, Hampton, Anna Travis, Hampton, Donna Folkins and Stanley Long, Titusville; eight grandchildren, Anthony Mercer, Jonathan Lawrence, Hazen Mercer, Sheila (Lawrence) Nice, Cory Mercer, Heather (Folkins) Wrye, Grace Lawrence and Amanda Long; ten great-grandchildren; one sister, Freda Long, Bloomfield; two brothers, Ronald Smith, Hampton, Richard Smith, Kingston; several nieces and nephews, and cousins. Predeceased by son, Brian and sister, Gladys Buchanan Resting at Sherwood's Funeral Home, (839-2156) 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB, with visiting, Monday, 7 to 9 PM and Tuesday, 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. Funeral service will be held from Church of the Ascension, Lower Norton, NB, on Wednesday, November 14, 2007 at 2:00 PM. Interment will be in Riverbank Cemetery, Riverbank, NB.
