THIBODEAU, ELIZABETH (BETTY) JOAN - Passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Monday, December 10, 2007. Elizabeth (Betty) Thibodeau of Saint John, wife of the late Carl Thibodeau. Born in Saint John she was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Edna (Landry) Bent. Betty was a member of the Assumption Parish. She was employed by the Princess Acadia Ferry and also she worked at Ida's ice cream Parlour Ocean West Way. She was a member of the Admiral Beatty Senior's Club. She will be greatly missed by her friend's at the Lancaster Mall Where she went every Friday. She is survived by two sons, Paul and his wife Tina and Terry Lee, both of Saint John; son in law, Gerald Duffy; brother, George Bent and his wife Vera of Sussex and will be greatly missed by her sister Ruth Barrett whom she was very close to; one grandson Troy Griffin; and several nieces and nephews and friends Joan and Launa at the Beatty Complex also known as her big sisters. She was predeceased by her parents; husband; son Michael; daughter Martha; and Brothers Ronald and Raymond. Resting at Castle "Fallsview " Funeral Home (634-1701), 309 Lancaster Avenue, Saint John. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday December 13, 2007 in the funeral home chapel. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery. No visiting at the funeral home by Betty's request.
