LAWRENCE, WILLIAM CLIFFORD - The death of Mr. W. Clifford Lawrence, husband of Alice (White) Lawrence of Saint John West, occurred on Sunday, December 23, 2007 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Port aux Basques, NL, he was the son of the late Thomas and Jane Lawrence. Mr. Lawrence worked for the Canadian Coast Guard and Marine Atlantic for many years. Surviving in addition to his wife, Alice are two sons, Tommy (Carolyn) Lawrence and Gary (Sherri) Lawrence; five daughters, Debbie (Rowan) Brooks, Marilyn (Richard) Crawford, Janet (Mike) Brideau, Susan (Darren) Lawrence, and Linda (Darrel) Brenton; one brother, Clyde of NL; 16 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place at Castle's "Fallsview" Funeral Home (634-1701), 309 Lancaster Avenue, Saint John on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 10 am from Fallsview Chapel. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery. Following the interment a reception will take place at the Fallsview Family Reception Centre.
