STAPLES, WILLIAM JAMES - of Peel, NB passed away at Upper River Valley Hospital in Waterville on Thursday, December 27, 2007, at the age of 62. Survived by his wife, Sheila; one daughter, Allison (Brent) Lamb, Australia; two stepsons, Robert (Lorie) McFarlane, Woodstock, Clinton (Deanna) McFarlane, Debec, NB; one stepdaughter, Sonya (Kevin) Thomas, Debec, NB; grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Hannah, Marty, Kurtis, Brady and Scotty; brothers, David (Sharyl) Staples, Barrie, Ontario, Joseph (Linda) Staples, Labrador City, Gerry (Regina) Staples, Corner Brook; sisters, Sister Sylvia Staples, Carol Ann (Bryan) Scofield, England and Mary Kelly (the late Edumd Kelly), Labrador City; fifteen nieces, nephews and a large circle of relatives and friends. Predeceased by his parents, Michael and Josephine (McHugh) Staples; granddaughter, Kayla McFarlane. Resting at the Scott Funeral Home, 815 Main Street, Woodstock, NB, with visiting on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday at 2 pm from St. Gertrude's Catholic Church. Father Bill Brennan will be officiating, with interment in Mount Patricia Cemetery, Corner Brook Newfoundland.
