
ALICE PARFITT
PARFITT, ALICE- Alice Parfitt of Carlton Kirk Lodge passed away on December 26, 2007. She was born in Ontario and was the daughter of the late John and Daisey May (Walpool) Snelling and Husband of Dalton "Buster" Parfitt. Alice worked for Barber's Tea, Birks and Smith's Grocery. She was a member of the Waterloo Street Baptist Church, now known as the Cornerstone Baptist Church, and belonged to many Senior Citizen Clubs. In addition to her husband, Dalton Parfitt, she is survived by one son, Peter Parfitt of Saint John; one daughter, Diana (Fred) Bustard of Halifax; one sister, Violet Snelling of Ontario; two grandchildren, Terrance McKee (Colleen) and Christopher McKee (Alona); four great grandchildren, Katherine McKee and Matthew McKee, Vincent McKee and Samuel McKee as well as several nieces and nephews. Also survived by special friends, James McKee and his wife Laura. Resting at Cavanagh Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 91 Leinster Street (634-1712) with visiting on Thursday from 7-9pm and Friday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. The funeral service will be held on Saturday December 29, 2007 at 11:00am in Cavanagh's Chapel followed by a reception and then internment in Fernhill Cemetery.
