PERLEY, MAURICE- The passing of Maurice Perley of Tobique First Nation, NB occurred on January 5, 2008 at his residence at the age of 83. Born February 14, 1924 in Tobique, NB he was the son of the late Gabriel and Mariah (Laport) Perley. Maurice is survived by his sons, Lawrence (Larry) (Loretta), Gordon Paul (Lorna), Ronald Reid (Ann), Eric (Ricky), Vernon, Brian, Randall (Tara) all of Tobique First Nation; his daughters, Mary Geraldine (Checker) (Bob) Kier, Jacqueline, Carol Angela, Lesha of Tobique First Nation, Deidre of Grand Falls, Rhonda (John) Toupou of California and Barby (Mike) of Tobique First Nation; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; six brothers Raymond (Rex), Pat, Gerald, Elmer, Carl, and David; three sisters, Bertha Sappier, Georgina Kipp and Faith Perley. He was predeceased by his wife, Rita Ann Perley; son, Derran Perley; brother, Eugene Perley and two sisters, Geraldine and Regina. Resting at 12 Perley Rd. Tobique First Nation, NB with visiting hours starting on Monday, January 7, 2008 at 2008 at 10 am until the time of service. Funeral service will be held at the St. Ann's Catholic Church on Wednesday, January 9th, 4pm, with Father Curtis Sappier and Father Gilbert Doddatto officiating.
