GREENE, LEROY D. - 77, of Sidney, Maine and Ft. Meyers, Florida, died Friday January 4, 2008 in Augusta, Maine with his family by his side. Survivors include, his loving companion, Jean Burhans, of Ft. Meyers, FL; his five children, Brenda and her husband, Carl Jackson, of Pittston; Tammy and her husband, Ronald Mason, of Gardiner; Scott and his wife, Brenda Greene, of Gardiner; Melanie Bridges and her fiancé, Darrell Gerrard, of Augusta, and Shawn Greene, of Gardiner; his brother, John Greene and his sister; Rayma Nason and her husband, Emery, all of Winthrop, ME; his aunt, Louise "Louie" McAdam, of New Brunswick, Canada; 13 grandchildren, Erin, Jason, Eric, Kelli, Travis, Jamie, Cassidy, Zack, Mitch, Jeff, Carrie, Brittani, and Brandi; eight great-grandchildren, Madeline, Isabella, Ashley, Averi, Kale, Nadia, Aiden, and Kayori; his former wife and mother of their children, Louvain Monroe, of Gardiner, Maine; along with many nieces, nephews and cousins in Maine and New Brunswick. A committal service will be held at the chapel of the New Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Mt. Vernon Road in Augusta on Thursday, at 2:00 pm.
