TAYLOR, KATHARINE - Unexpectedly at her home in Windsor, Ontario, Katharine "Katie" "Kate" Taylor, formerly of Sussex, NB passed away on Tuesday January 15th, 2008. Born on June 27th, 1979, Katie was the daughter of Julie (Lingley) Steeves of Sussex Corner and the late Ken Taylor of Nackawic, NB. Katie is survived by her mother, Julie; and step-father, Wayne; her brother, Jay Taylor (Sarah) of Bedford, NS; her sisters, Cynthia Eisner of Sussex and Brittany Eisner, at home; her maternal grandfather, Douglas H. Lingley of the Veterans Health Unit, Fredericton; her aunt, Patricia Lingley of Charlottetown, PEI; her surrogate aunt, Gladys Kickham of Charlottetown, PEI; her paternal grandmother, Jean Taylor of Cornwall, PEI; step-sisters, Heather and MacKenzie Steeves of Saint John; a step-brother, David Steeves of Kingston, ON; and her special friend, Justin Johnston of Grand Cayman; several great aunts and uncles; cousins; and many friends. Katie graduated from Sussex Regional High School in 1997 and received her Bachelor of Commerce from Dalhousie University in 2002. For the past four years Katie has worked in the accounting firm of Howie and Partners in Windsor, Ontario while studying for her CA Designation. The family will receive visitors at the Sussex Select Community Funeral Home, 21 Aiton Road Sussex (506-433-2133) on Saturday from 6 to 8PM.
