DONNIE DUBEE
DUBEE, DONNIE - At the Tobique Valley Hospital, Plaster Rock, January 17, 2008, Mr. Donnie Dubee of Blue Bell, passed away at the age of 61 years. He was married to the former Marlene St. Onge. Born at Saint John in 1946, he was the son of the late George and Helen (Voutour) Dubee. Donnie was a hard worker and dedicated his life to supporting his friends and family. To some, he will be remembered as the mail carrier that never missed a wave or smile, every morning en route to work with Canada Post. To others, he was called the taxman, as his passion for bookkeeping allowed him to provide over 40 years of service to his community. Most importantly, he will be remembered as a kind man with an endless generosity. Donnie was an active member of his community and church. He was a lifelong member of both the Canadian and NB Liberal parties. In addition to this, he served as a director with the Victoria Tobique Liberal Association, a past president of the Assumption Church Parish Council and dedicated member of the Lord's Pantry. Above all else, Donnie loved his family and friends most. To those who knew him, he would want you to embrace the wonderful memories that you shared together and be content in knowing that God has taken him home where he will finally be at peace. To his clients he would want to say, an enormous thank you for your many years of patronage, and to his friends and family, a huge smile and traditional Donnie wave as he journeys on to his new home in Heaven. Besides his wife, he is survived by his two daughters, Mary-Jane Lorette (David) of Vaudreuil, Quebec and Elizabeth Greencorn (Mitchell) of Fredericton; very special granddaughter, Alexis Lorette; sister, Mary Steeves (Robert) of Marlboro, Massachusetts; mother-in-law, Grace St. Onge (George Langlois) of New Denmark; as well as, many nieces and nephews. Resting at O'Regan's Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls with visiting hours Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Monday from noon until 1:30 p.m. His funeral will be held Monday, January 21st at 2 p.m. from the Assumption Roman Catholic Church, Blue Bell, with Father Curtis Sappier officiating. Interment will be in the St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery, Plaster Rock. For those who wish, donations to your local food bank would be appreciated by the family. www.oregans.ca
