Passed away peacefully, Clayton (Martin) White at St. Clare’s Hospital, St. John’s on March 5, 2008 at the age of 68 years. Left to mourn are his wife, Gail (Duffenais), daughter, Rhonda and granddaughter, Naomi Sheppard, mother-in-law, Kathleen Duffenais and a large circle of family and friends. He is survived by his brothers: Joe (Linda), Raymond (Mary), Danny (Barb), Tony (Hazel), Kenneth (Shirley) and sisters: Louise (Louise) and Jacqueline (Matthias). He is predeceased by his parents, Anthony & Georgina, brothers: Dick (Theodore), Isaac, Amedi and baby Kenneth, sisters: Cleophus, Eva, Ann, Helena, Lavina. Visitation took place at the Chapel, St. Joseph’s Parish, St. George’s on Friday, March 7th from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service took place on Saturday, March 8, 2008 at St. Joseph’s Parish, St. George’s at 10:00 a.m. with cremation to follow. Funeral arrangements were under the supervision of Russell’s Funeral Home & Crematorium, Stephenville. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Cerebral Palsy Association of Newfoundland and Labrador would be greatly appreciated.
