PEARSON, GERALD - Mr. Gerald Pearson of Sussex passed away on January 20, 2008 at the age of 80. Born in Pearsonville, he was the son of the late Murray and Florence (Smith) Pearson and the husband of the late Effie (Holder) Pearson who passed away in 1993. Gerald is survived by two brothers, Ken (Verna) and Ronald (Nadine Smith) both of Sussex; two sisters, Thelma Whelton (Joe) of Saint John and Mabel Buchanan (Otty) of Fredericton; two sisters-in-law, Ethel and Patricia Pearson; as well as several nieces and nephews. Gerald was predeceased by three brothers, Lewis, Eugene and Melvin. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), where visitation will be held on Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. The Markhamville Orange Lodge #91 will hold a tribute Tuesday evening at 6:45pm.
