ELMER ROY BUSTARD
BUSTARD, ELMER ROY - At the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, Fredericton, NB on January 28th, 2008, Mr. Elmer Roy Bustard of Fredericton, NB, formerly of Blacks Harbour, NB. Born in Monument Settlement, NB on December 22, 1945, he was a son of the late Raymond and Beatrice (Watson) Bustard. A loving father, grandfather and brother he is survived by his wife, Mary; three sons, Chris (Kelly), Raymond and Kirk Bustard; one granddaughter, Abrielle Bustard; eight brothers, Rev. Vernon (Judy), Wesley (Joyce), Rev. Arden (Betty Ann), Clifford, Eugene, Gary (Diana), Rev. Lloyd (Pam) and Rev. Morton (Marilyn) Bustard; eight sisters, Marie Lloyd, Mildred (Brent) Patterson, Hilda (John) Gray, Carol Keetch, Katherine (Eric) Williams, Joanne (James) Post, Janice (Frank) Galbraith and Faith (Wayne) Galbraith; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides his parents, Elmer was predeceased by two brothers, Howard and Rev. William Bustard. Elmer was raised in Blacks Harbour where he worked for Connors Bros. as a carpenter for a number of years before moving to Fredericton. He loved fishing and had a passion for music and enjoyed playing the guitar. Resting at the United Pentecostal Church in Blacks Harbour, NB from where the service will be held on Thursday at 1:00 pm. The interment will be held at the Pennfield Rural Cemetery in the spring. Visiting at the church on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. In Elmer's memory donations to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
