COMLEY, FREDERICK M. - After a lengthy battle with cancer, died at the Saint John Regional Hospital on January 29, 2008. Born in Saint John, NB on the 26th of March 1932. Frederick M. Comley was the son of the late George and Eva Hazel (Hovey) Comley. He is survived by his wife, Nedra L. (Stoddard) Comley, surviving sister, Kathleen Ruth, husband, John P. Garnett; only surviving brother, Gordon Earl Comley; four children Clark Comley, wife, Maxine, Mark Comley, wife, Jane, Leath Ann Lezette and Rebecca Lynn, husband, Rex Stoddard. 11 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Rev. Comley pastured churches in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. He has written over thirty books, predominately on theology. He has been a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church for several years. Resting at Cavanagh Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 91 Leinster Street (634-1712) with visiting on Thursday 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm. The funeral service will be held on Friday at 1:00pm in Cavanagh's Chapel, with Rev. Robert Allaby officiating. Burial will take place in Kingston Baptist Cemetery in the spring.
