MCGRATH, BERTHA - of St Margaret's, NB passed away on Wednesday Jan 30th at the Miramichi Regional Hospital at the age of 83. Born in Acadiaville, NB. The daughter of the late Frederick & Rosalie (Pineau) Goguen. She is survived by daughters, Rita McGrath of Bathurst, Norma Hay (Brian) of St. Margaret's, Joanne McGrath of New Glasgow, NS, Shirley MacTavish (Stephen) of Lantz, NS; sons, Robert (Heather) of Petitcodiac, Alfred (Nicole) of Petit-Rocher; one sister, Maria Gallant (Rene) of Derry New Hampshire USA; nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Albert McGrath; sister Regina; brothers Antoine, Alphonse and Louis. Visitation will be held at Maher's Funeral Home Miramichi on Thursday January 31st from 2-4 & 7-9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday February 1st at 12 noon from St Margaret's Roman Catholic Church with Fr John Fraser officiating.
