OVILA DOIRON
DOIRON, OVILA - It is with sadness that the family of Ovila Doiron of Acadieville, N.B. announce his passing on February 7, 2008 at the age of 82. He was the son of the late Willie (Gould) Doiron and the late Zelianne Arsenault. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Emma (Cormier) and their 14 children; Germaine (Gerard) Chevarie, Yvonne (Maurice) Chevarie, Donald (Jeanine) Doiron and Denise (John) Thompson of Blacks Harbour; Arthur (Marie) Doiron and Laurie (Julia) Doiron of Musquash; Raymonde (Joe) Richard and Sylvia (Rene Ferron) Richard of Saint John; Lucille (Donnie) Boucher of Cap-Lumiere; Lucien (Cecile) Doiron and Leonce (Nicole) Doiron of Acadieville; Roger Doiron, Jocelyne Doiron and Jeanne (Jimmy) Bourque of Rogersville; 36 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren; one sister, Zelica (Late Fred) Caissie. He was predeceased by two infant children, Gerard and Jeanne; three grandchildren; son-in-law Norman Richard; two sisters and three brothers. He worked as a woodsman, truck driver and at the Saint John winter port. He was a member of the Legion and the Knights of Columbus Council #8341. To his family he was an example of a devoted, hardworking, honest man. The family would like to give their sincere thanks to all those who through their kindness and thoughtfulness, made a difficult time more bearable.
