SCOTT, DOUGLAS ROBERT - The death of Douglas Robert Scott of Duke Street occurred at his residence on Saturday February 16, 2008. Born in Saint John, he was the son of the late Robert and Mabel (McLeod) Scott. Doug was a life long resident of Saint John and had been employed for many years as a machinist with the Saint John Iron Works. He liked the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman, and a Baptist by faith. Doug is survived by his sister, Gladys (Nancy) Scott; and several cousins. Resting at the Cavanagh Funeral Home and Cremation Center (634-1712), 91 Leinster Street from where the funeral will be held on Tuesday February 19, 2008 at 2:00pm.
