COSTON, ALFRED 1930-2008 - Alfred Coston of Bairdsville passed away unexpectedly at Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on February 18, 2008. Born in Dover Hill, NB on April 5, 1930, he was the son of the late George and Josephine (McGuire) Coston. Alfred leaves behind his wife of 20 years, Betty Coston (Fitzherbert); his daughter, Marilyn Colpitts of Saint John; his stepdaughters, Ola MacIntosh (Leon) of Edmonton, AB, Wanda Soder of Red Deer, AB, Audrey Evans (Ron) of Oliver, BC, Cindy Dickinson (Brent) of Woodtock, Beth Christie (Ronald) of Grande Prairie, AB; his stepsons, Earl Waugh (Debby) of Saint John, Aubrey Waugh (Linda) of Temperance Vale, NB, John Waugh (Lori) of St. George, NB, Jamie Waugh (Janet) of Saint John; his sisters, Opal Fitzherbert of Gondola Point, NB, Edna (Clarence) Fitzherbert of Truro, NS,; his brothers, Archie (Ruth) Coston of Grand Bay-Westfield, NB, Eric (Janet) Coston of Kingston Peninsula, NB; 24 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Alfred was predeceased by his first wife, Ivy (Coston) Fitzherbert; his son, Ricky Coston; sisters Marguerite Coston, Rita Grant, and Joyce Coston. Resting at Brunswick Funeral Home with visitation on Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2008 at 2 pm from the funeral home chapel. Mr. Ray Andersen will officiate. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Saint John, NB at a later date.
