It is with great sadness that the family of the late Edith Mae Bartlett announces her passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Saturday, March 8, 2008 at the age of 90 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, son Lloyd (Joy); sisters: Gladys (Bert) Dalley, Stella Warren; daughter-in-law: Ruby Bartlett; nine grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter, and a large number of other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Scott George; son Roy Chesley; sisters: Debra, Rachael, Dorothy, Elizabeth; step-brother: Richard Parsons; daughter-in-law: Loretta Bartlett; brothers; George Colbourne and Francis Colbourne. The family received friends at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Sunday, March 9, 2008 from 7-9 pm and will receive friends on Monday, March 10, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will take place on Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at 2 pm from Oakland United Church with Marilyn Avery officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery.
