SAVOY, FRANK JOSEPH - The death of Frank Joseph Savoy of Darlings Island, husband of Nancy (Foster) Savoy occurred February 22, 2008 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, March 14, 1940, he was the oldest son of the late Anthony and Suzanne (Robichaud) Savoy. He was employed by Gold Star Window Cleaning Co. and by City Transit and later Saint John Transit. He was an active member of Central Norton United Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Nancy; daughter, Ann-Marie Savoy, Darlings Island; son, Michael Savoy (Debra Cosman), Norton; granddaughter, Carrie Savoy; mother-in-law, Myrtle Foster, Darlings Island; sister-in-law Margot Savoy/Butler, Saint John; nieces, Hilary Savoy, Taya Wallace; nephew Scot Foster; step-daughter, Cheryl Ann Lee (Brett), Sackville, NB; step-grandchildren, Brianne, Dalton and Garett Lee. He was predeceased by sisters, Mary and Madeline and brothers, Dominic and James David. Cremation will be followed by visitation at Reid's Funeral Home (832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, on Monday from 2-8pm. The funeral will be held Tuesday, 11:00am at Central Norton United Baptist Church, Bloomfield, with Rev. Mark Leary officiating. Interment in Lower Central Norton Baptist Cemetery.
